Early College Program -
This program is being created to provide opportunities for academically talented students. These students will be engaged in a challenging educational environment. The Early College Program is committed to developing young people who are self-motivated, organized, and academically driven. The structure and academic challenge of the program will prepare participants to compete with students from any high school in the area, state, or nation.
A Learning-Oriented Environment - College Prep, Honors, AP Classes
- Doubled the number of students passing the Ohio Graduation Test on the first attempt.
- Eight computer labs, computers in every classroom, and state of the art technology.
- A strong focus on the transition into high school. Ninth graders are housed together in the Freshmen Academy, providing a common set of teachers to work with students to ensure success.
- Tenth graders make up the SuccessAcademy where they can take Honors Classes and explore colleges.
- Juniors and seniors, who make up the UpperAcademy, may declare a major and gain further awareness and understanding of a specific career.
- Nearly 15 percent of Upper Academy students take dual-enrollment courses through the University of Cincinnati. Over 10 percent of seniors earn dual credit through attending classes at Cincinnati State.
- Dedicated, caring and highly qualified academic professionals, averaging nearly 15 years of teaching experience.
- Small class sizes; student teacher ratio about 17:1.
- 96 percent compliance with State Attendance Goal.

- Explore, become familiar with, and prepare for a career in public service.
- Government/Public Administration, Law & Public Safety, Human Services.
Activities & Athletics – A great number of ways to participate and belong
- Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity Sports, and a club or activity to meet every student’s interest.
